I purchased additional insurance through Kayak’s affiliate but the Hertz rep at the counter said it wasn’t valid in my state and he tried to get me to cancel and purchase Hertz insurance. I called the Kayak affiliate who was able to confirm it is valid. Then I get possible the worst car on their lot, with a damaged door. He also said it had a full tank but it did not.

It was horrible experience at pickup as My family was stranding in cold to wait for shuttle there was no counter nothing. When I got at pick up location. They charged me more than 25 percent extra what was originally committed. I understand taxes can’t be approx but not like 25 percent more

Didn’t have any cars. Also you have to use credit card not debit. Don’t come here unless you have credit card. I reserved that morning when I got the waited 20 in line to be told I had to have credit card. My husband had waited a while but my special needs son needed feed so he had left and I was stranded.I just had back surgery and can barely walk. There was other rental place 9 min walking distance but by the time I got there it was closed. I had to call Lyft to get home.
