Incredibly slow pickup times. No nighttime box for key drop off. Vehicle had a persistent rattle while driving. Took thirty minutes to get the vehicle after they went to get it; anoint an hour total from start to finish with no wait in the line. Inside windshield was filthy and hard to see through.

They delayed the car that screwed up all my plans and wasted 2 people day off and my kids spring break and one day hotel fir two rooms. I supposed to get the car at 8:00AM, they called me when I was on the way to agency and said they don’t have car and trying to locate in other locations. They were finally able to provide me car at 4:00PM. Since I lost one day, I requested for one day rental refund but they refused. They offered me one extra day rental or gift certificate which is not useful for me so I refused it. If you are choosing hertz Manteca, which is on Yosemite ave, you have to be cautious. They have very limited vehicles, same thing happened to another lady on the same day.

Only one staff member was friendly. Other staff was rude and treated us as if we were bothering them even though they had no other customers.

Cleanliness, smell and service when trying to escalate an issue could have been better. 1-800 number was no help during an emergency. On hold for 1.5 hrs trying to get someone on the line even though it was their “emergency” line.
