Car Hire at Providence-TFGreen Airport

I waited 1 hour for a rental at the counter. They were very rude and didn’t care. No one was at the counter to great me for the car.

Check engine light came on. I had tk rerun car. No discount offered.

The car smelled like smoke, there was a rattle sound on the side of the car when we drove and there was food left behind by the previous driver. For how much we paid I would expect a little better.

Folks are very friendly and professional

Reasonable price. Easy pick and drop off.

Nothing was available close to my home so the drive to get to the car was a long distance but besides that we were very happy.

I arrived to pick up the car with enough room on my credit card to pay for it and then I was informed I needed to have an additional $200 available on the card in order to get the car. This was never disclosed to me. Luckily I was able to fix it on the spot otherwise the trip would have been ruined before it even started. Additionally after I got the rental documents I was informed there was no customer parking so I had to leave without the rental car go find a place to park my car and walk back to the facility to pick up the rental. After finally getting to the car the exterior was dirty but more concerning the interior clearly had not been wiped down at all. In this day in age of covid-19 that practice is unacceptable and irresponsible. I had to drive to my house before going where I needed to go so I could sanitize all the touch surfaces inside the car. Between having to walk back to the facility after finding parking and having to stop and clean the car I was behind on my schedule. The car itself performed as you would expect for a new vehicle with only 25,000 miles on it. The person behind the counter was polite and performed her job as you would expect.

Arrived in late night and ckecked in at Hertz Gold; departed early morning and no one at checl-in area. So no real life contact with Dollart. Car was great.

1st they charge you 12 dollars for picking the car up 1 hr early bring it back an hr early who cares filled the tank in mass used less then a quarter of a tank to drop it off charged 20 dollars never again

I wish I would’ve gotten a refund!! I didn’t even get to pick up the rental !! I’m so disappointed. $133$ out the drain !!

Price could have been better. The drop-off was in a dimly lit parking garage to just 1 person who handled returns for at least 3 different rental car companies. I would have NEVER allowed my wife to return a rental under those conditions.

PVD has really screwed up the where and how you pick up rental cars, and the return placement is far from ideal. On the other hand the young lady whom I dealt with at the counter was OUTSTANDING. She was rocking two keyboards at one and making things happen. There are people who strive for absolute EXCELLENCE in what they do, and she is one of them!
