This was the worst car rental experience I've ever had. First had to wait in the hot sun outside for 1.5 hours to even get to the window, then found out the Jeep I had rented had been downgraded to a compact car. Told the person at the desk and they said, sorry, this is the code the third party gave us for your rental and we have no other larger cars. CarRentals.com wouldn't help out either. Made me jump through hoops, and never refunded me the higher cost for a jeep or arranged for a larger car. So basically skip budget rental for sure, and don't depend on kayak or car entals.com to fix their mistakes.
Process was quickly and easy. Gas is cheaper in land than paying for there gas. Gas was $4.39 and they were charging $6.99. But everything was pretty much good and seaming-less. I would definitely use them again.
Very slow at counter for pick up.

Cons:Customer service at pickup was horrible. My flight arrived 1 1/2 hours earlier than originally scheduled. A arrived at the budget counter that much earlier than my reservation time. The agent told me to get out of line so she could assist those with an earlier reservation time. When I tried calling the Budget customer service number, I could not get a live person. The automated system told me that my reservation in St Croix, USVI, was outside of the US, then transferred me to a number that was not answered. When I was finally waited on, the agent told me there were more 7 passenger vehicles, which I had reserved, and was given a 5 passenger vehicle for the same price.
