We arrived to pickup the car that we had made a RESERVATION for 6 months prior and were told in a rude tone by the employee that we would need to wait, he didn’t know how long and they didn’t have a car we could use because we were a one way rental. After an hour and a half of waiting patiently as he continued to be extremely unprofessional to each and every person that arrived (he spoke poorly of management and put his fingers to his head pretending to pull the trigger once) he miraculously gave us the keys to a car and left us on our own to find where it might be parked at the airport. Upon return, we found that the office we were returning it to closed at 2pm, called because we weren’t going to be in town that early and were transferred to a call center where the person on the other end of the line was nearly impossible to understand (he spoke extremely quickly with a thick Indian accent and wouldn’t repeat himself when I asked) and he ended up hanging up on me. I then called the number to reservation extension/changes and was told they couldn’t help me. FINALLY I reached the office we were returning the car to and had no issues but dealing with every employee up to that point was infuriating. The car itself though, was clean and comfortable. Will avoid renting from Budget again due to their inability to serve the customer with kindness and respect (or be of any help).
