I was injured getting off of my plane. I was unable to drive and had to have someone come pick me up. I tried multiple times to cancel my car reservation and was unable to contact anyone to help. I am very I satisfied with the customer service process.
Check in counter delay was frustrating, process should be expedited. It shouldn't take 10 plus minutes per customer to check in and pick up a vehicle.

Cons:My flight from tampa (frontier airlines) was delayed for 5 hours for a mechanical issue. I called hertz from tampa to let them know that although i would be late picking up the car, i was indeed still coming and needed the rental. I was assured by customer service that hertz would hold my reservation for 24 hours and there would be no issue getting my car. I arrived in milwaukee just after 11pm, rushed to the hertz counter to find that they had closed at 6pm. Before i ever left tampa. I was forced to stay at a hotel near the airport ($230.00) so that i could return to the hertz counter at 8 am to pick up the car that was indeed waiting for me.
Pros:There was nothing to like since I had booked a reservation with Hertz that I would never be able to pick up; the Hertz counter at MKE closes at 11 PM and my flight was scheduled to arrive at 11:22. I am extremely lucky that I caught that and canceled my hertz reservation in time; I was able to book a reservation with a competitor who was smart enough to keep their counter open for later flights. By the way when we picked up our Alamo rental car, we saw several people who were not as lucky as us, who did not notice the early closure and found themselves without a vehicle.
