They could try to not fraud with vehicle damages. They tried to incriminate me a scratch on the side of the car. Thank god I took pictures of it. However, I did not photo under the vehicle. So they then tried to incriminate that as well. But since that damage was below the scratch they did not "have in their database" - they could not prove I did it. Also being stuck to pickup time without being able to select it - sucks. I work. How am I supposed to pick the car up and return it at 12 PM?

Car rent costed 36 euro which was mentioned on the website In addition to this they ask maximal insurance of 40 euro (cause I don’t have credit card) and 40 euro for work after 23 pm. I refused to rent it. I’ve been waiting for 40 min in the line to their office for nothing.

Everything with Payless was good from beginning to end, there was a problem with Kayak, my reservation had never been forwarded to Payless, they scrambled to get me a car and honour the pricing. Luckily I had saved my confirmation with Kayak

It’s not Payless. It is Avis, simple like that. Some very nice ladies when I picked the car and some nasty people when I returned. They will charge you for the air that you breathe around them, and all that without giving you receipts or giving you the proof what they charging you for. And all that with sarcastic smile on his face. Now, for three weeks I’m trying to contact them and make complaints, four emails sent, even more phone calls made. Nothing. I guess it’s time to call credit card company and try to have money back.

Airport staff was excellent, only problem we had was that the messages we left that we would be a day late (called and texted) was not passed along and as a result our original reservation was cancelled and we had to pay considerably more for an upgraded car which was the only one available when we arrived.

We arrived to Belgrade on time, the issue was that once we get in the counter there was nobody there and we have to wait for about 1 hour (there were 2 people before us), then the problem was that the person was not able to find our booking, my phone was running out of battery and she was asking me to show her the booking id. I was expecting I just need to show my name and she would be able to find me. She had a all list of names of people who were supposed to get a car that day and I was not there. Finally, she was able to create a booking with the same rate I was given online, she went over the insurance and the deposit fee and I have to leave in case of an incident. Besides the waiting time and that she could not find my booking at the beginning everything went well. We appreciate how she was helping out finding the best rate for our booking. The car was a small but great car, very economic in gas, efficient with the A/C, and extremely clean. In general, we were pleasant with our rental.

My reservation was not honored. I was told that reservation did not go thorough and they could not honor the daily rates. I ended up renting for way higher rates because I did not have any other option. It looked like a scam. In addition, I tried to call the rental location and not the single phone number worked. I was told the number are different and phone numbers on the site are outdated.

We did not pick up the car. The location of the rental is out of the airport. You have to walk 15 minutes without knowing where it is ! We waited 45 minutes under the sun 35 degrees and they figured one person, we had other 3 in front!! The employee had no idea what they were doing!!! Do not rent from them!!! We ended up renting from another company and in 10 minutes we had the keys!!!!

I was not allowed to rent because I am 80 years old. I was not made aware of the max age of 77 for car rental. This presented a great deal of inconvenience. I rented elsewhere.

The staff were friendly and efficient. Access to the kiosk for pick up very difficult. The garage very poorly lit. Location of the car not marked well at all. The company's insurance policies ridiculous.

so I never got car from YOU ... when I arrived they asked me for different price and to deposit 12.000 Euros ( 15.000 dollars ) for exidentals I already had my insurance ... but they tried to make me buy insurance .... so I hope you are not charging me for car I never received !

Rental car was so B.S When I arrived and ask for my vehicle they offer me a completely different vehicle from Ed cheaper vehicle for €15,000 deposit because I want to use my car insurance if I use their insurance which one is around €500 for a week then they can drop down on thousand dollar deposit it’s not about deposit it’s about lie who they serve people. Maybe it’s not budget but just budget in Serbia gonna need to be completely removed from the airport definitely disgusting how they serve people so of course I ran from next-door whoever was next-door I rent car from them and they never going to rent a car from budget anymore in Serbia specifically that’s how much I like budget rental car

This was a scam. Once i reserved the car they changed the type (i reserved a minivan and few days before pickup they informed me that i will be picking up a small SUV). When i argued about their change they said that they never had such minivan and that this must have been a mistake on the website. Fortunately i was able to get all of my money back. Don't rent with them to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
