They could try to not fraud with vehicle damages. They tried to incriminate me a scratch on the side of the car. Thank god I took pictures of it. However, I did not photo under the vehicle. So they then tried to incriminate that as well. But since that damage was below the scratch they did not "have in their database" - they could not prove I did it. Also being stuck to pickup time without being able to select it - sucks. I work. How am I supposed to pick the car up and return it at 12 PM?

Great! No Issues with rental process and the company. But the brand new Renault rental car started to show low tire pressure suddenly while driving on second day despite no change in tire pressure, had to stop and check multiple times. Sixt was great!

They did not rent a car to me with cash payment and cash deposit. They insisted all payments should be with a valid credit card. Also they demanded 750usd credit card deposit. They say 'the client is our boss' on the wall but actually not, the client is the slave. I canceled renting a car with their conditions.

Amazing! The customer service was top notch. The staff at the Zagreb Sixt were incredibly helpful in getting us out as fast as possible since we had to catch a bus. We probably wouldn't have made it if it weren't for their immediate attention. We are very gracious for their help! Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Car rent costed 36 euro which was mentioned on the website In addition to this they ask maximal insurance of 40 euro (cause I don’t have credit card) and 40 euro for work after 23 pm. I refused to rent it. I’ve been waiting for 40 min in the line to their office for nothing.

I went for the economy option, and that’s what I got. It wasn’t a luxurious ride, but it got me where I needed to go, and that was just fine. Most importantly, the process was east and they didn’t pull any nasty surprises on me. I would use them again.

I reserved an VW EOS, or "equivalent" - they told me to take a Mini Cooper. We're a family of 4, with 4 suitcases. Obviously, this wasn't going to happen. No more AVIS for us!

Worst rental company I used in 35 years of travelling. They will charge you up front $1,000+ deposit and refuse to release it. There are so many descent rental companies, do not use that company.

When calling the Green Motion to get a ride from the airport nobody was picking up the phone so I called Athens downtown office which called them. There is a mislead they said wait for a driver in a green shirt to come in to the airport and he never did. Instead it was the car rent rep by the location specified with a green scarf. To get to the car rent this and that overall took 2hrs. When returning the car I mentioned my GPS didn't take me to the correct address so I spent 1hr to get to the Green Motion thus my flight was slightly over an hour and I asked 3 times to take me to the airport. The response was each time to wait 3-5 mins for the van resulted the van arrived in 15min + 5 mins load + 10 mins ride so I got to the airport when the check-in to my flight closed 15 mins ago I was lucky they checked my luggage at the boarding. With this experience I am very unhappy with the service.

Pickup at airport took forever. When we dropped car off it was chaotic at the counter. The car was almost empty when we got it. It had issues when we started it. Weird noises. Not a great experience.

This was a scam. Once i reserved the car they changed the type (i reserved a minivan and few days before pickup they informed me that i will be picking up a small SUV). When i argued about their change they said that they never had such minivan and that this must have been a mistake on the website. Fortunately i was able to get all of my money back. Don't rent with them to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

1. I met the agent at the scheduled time of my arrival at the airport and waited for a whole hour until their van was full of customers, in order to take us to the location to pick up our car. 2. Their office does not work 24 hours. I had to return the car 3 hours earlier, due to my flight, and the company charged me, an extra 40 euro in order for me to leave it at the airport. P.S. I was never informed about all of the above before hand in order for me to make a more rational decision (office hours, extra charges etc).

I booked a Renault Kangoo minivan for 4 passengers and 4 suitcases via Kayak. When i called them, Thrifty told me that they have received in their instruction a “small automatic car”. I cannot figure out if Kayak messed up or Thrifty. But i ultimately had to pay up 30% more for a small minivan (Opel Zafira) from Thrifty with 130k miles and underpowered. I am NEvER going to rent cars thru’ Kayak again. They also told me that they do NOT even rent out Renault Kangoo, so they have no idea why Kayak will show that car to me online available to book. Either somebody is lying or something is seriously wrong in the tech interface between Kayak and Thrifty

I didn't get the car I booked, because THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT. no alerts, emails, or calls about them missing it, so I was left on the street with my luggage in the middle of the night with an Airbnb booked in another city. next time maybe count your cars before letting people book non-existing ones.

Hello I made reservation through "priceline" But unfortunately when I arrived to Hertz rental car office in TIRANA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. They said we don't have car.and they trying to find excuses and lies. The next day I went to the airport and I rent a car from different company for the amount 750 € I regret this type of business with "Hertz" and I need consideration for this MATTER from YOU. Experience was great. Easy pickup and accommodating drop off for a little extra but no problems at all. Customer service was great as well. Rental car office is located 2 minutes down the road from the airport. Only thing would be better instructions for where the pickup shuttle is when outside the airport.

It would be helpful if it was more clear on the website that the person in whose name the reservation is made will automatically be assigned as the primary driver for the vehicle and this information could not be changed at the time of pick up for the vehicle. We ended up having to cancel and rebook our reservation at the time of car pick up in order to have my partner as the driver.
