Service team was exceptional. Very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The car was old and worn out. I have been renting cars for 30 years. This was probably the worst car I have ever rented. The location is not really at the airport. It is a ten minute drive from the airport, but the service team was vary accommodating. They seem to be doing the best they can with a challenging arrangement.

Watch what you're getting charged for before you reserve your rental car! I thought i was paying $297 for a week plus $92 for prepaid gas upon return, which i thought at the time was an amazing deal. When I picked up the car, taxes and add on expenses jacked it up to $379 and I got charged $118 after for the gas. I ended up paying $500 which was not clearly disclosed to me beforehand. I had to go online to ask for a receipt, which took a few days to receive. The car itself suited our needs and didn't break down, so that was good. The staff at the location never answer their phones either, they seem understaffed which was annoying, My questions could have been answered over the phone.

Terrible. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. It took more than 3 hours from the time I got to the car rental location to finally get a car and the employees had horrible attitudes about their repeated failures and inability to explain the mistakes they kept making. Rent somewhere else. It was a total nightmare.

Pickup service is not at all organized. Takes hours, no cars. All are being cleaned. If you are arriving on Saturday use a different rental agency. Staff was friendly. The management and process of whomever is running the agency needs to be removed and new person put in charge. Would never rent from them again.

Took over 3 hours waiting to receive the vehicle during pickup and when we did it was the wrong model class; should have be full sized SUV, but was originally given and small SUV. Dollar definitely needs better staffing at Lihue location. I have no complaints with the SUV itself but the initial delay spoiled my experience with Dollar.
