They called me the night before pickup and said they didn’t have the vehicle (minivan) . They canceled my reservation with no attempt to offer me a similar size vehicle. I tried calling their customer service number but no one was available. This company is awful. I couldn’t get a minivan anywhere last minute and had to drive my own car. I was greatly inconvenienced.
They did not have a car for rent
Car stunk of weed and drove like a pig. Two magic Trees and still the kids were complaining about the smell. Pick up was great although no toilet facilities for customers. Drop off was easy. The car was clean, but clearly the previous hirer had no respect for the no smoking policy, car had done 30000 miles was due an oil service just didn’t want to go up hills unless nursed. I’m no expert on Chev Impalas but it felt like it needed a tune to deal with any form of incline. The staff were all professional and courteous, but maybe this was a case of you pay for what you get and the luck of the draw.
DO NOT USE THEM! Bait and switch, we got a car that had bad brakes and 65,000 miles. Yes it was clean inside but why bother when the brakes are malfunctioning? We called and they said drive back to Ozone Park and exchange the car. It was a short trip to LI so we didn’t have the time to go back to the city or trust we would get a better car. Contract does not allow for early returns. And beware of their high pressure tactics for unnecessary insurance. They insist on only one person in their rental trailer. Yes I did say trailer. Completely ruined our quick trip to NY. Go to Google maps and put in their address then read the reviews. All are true! The employees are slick and treat you as if you are an idiot who never rented a car before. I was an idiot to us them to try and save money!!!
The pick-up van shuttle never came to get us at the airport after waiting for over an hour and calling multiple times so we cancelled and rented from another company the next day.
