Airport Van car rentals in Las Vegas

The company did not have a vehicle for us despite having prepaid for it through their site. We were instructed by airport van rental to contact kayak which has no easily accessible numbers listed. They said that kayak would refund the charges once they called airport van rental to verify that the rental was never fulfilled. They deserve one star, and kayak deserves one star. This is the worst company we ever rented car with! We arrived at the Las Vegas location on time to pick up our minivan. There were one family there ahead of us trying to pick up their minivan as well. The family were told there were no minivan available. They had to (basically were forced to) rent a big 15 person van to drive because they have no other back up plan. They complained at the spot for a long time because this was not they wanted. Too big to drive/park, not to mention the gasoline consumption. Then we had the same fate: no minivan but the huge van. This company is the worst! Please do not rent any cars from this location. They have no face and no credit. You will thank me later!

They needed more staff. When I arrived they didn’t have the vehicle that I had rented and prepaid for available. They should NOT be renting cars out they do not have in inventory. I rented a minivan for our party which had 2 over 75 senior citizens and a a disabled teenager. They didn’t have my vehicle and gave me a 15 passenger van that was dirty and clearly had been in multiple fender benders. Not only did they not give me what I thought I had paid for but they gave me something that was difficult to find parking for in Las Vegas, a fuel pig and It was difficult to get people in and out of not to mention a stroller / adaptive wheelchair. They told me to come back the next morning to pickup a minivan when they opened at 10 am. I didn’t end up getting the minivan from them until almost 2 pm the next day and only because I kept after them. It was dirty inside, and I had to take about 15 photos of the condition of it based on condition. It also had over 105,000 miles on it. On a short getaway having to spend over 8 extra hours over 2 days definitely failed my expectations and left me disappointed to say the least
