We waited over an hour in a pick up line to get our rental which is not ideal with three small children after a long flight. We rented three car seats, One of them was very flimsy and would not stay secured to the seat no matter how hard we try to secure with the seatbelt and the straps. The car was very clean. My other complaint was we were never told that regardless we had to pay for a full tank of gas when we return the car if you pay for gas in advance so we only used half a tank of gas I was stuck paying for a full tank.

Car rental prices are off the charts right now. I get frustrated with all the insurance options, gas and toll paying options. Budget basically said there would be multiple tolls where I was traveling so I paid the $44 toll package and didn’t see one toll the whole trip. I won’t use Hertz because of the smelly cigarette experience I had. I would be cautious using Budget again and probably go elsewhere. Many people in the same position from our hockey team weekend. Given the costs and pain of renting many just driving their personal vehicles next trip. Car rentals in a good spot now, but better get it right and stop being greedy!

Pros:I don’t even know where to begin , rude staff at checkout , smelly old best yo car . I found dents and damage all over when I told a rep he said that’s just west and tear , I had to argue with him to notate it , at the end he scribbled something on my paperwork and left him employee number . I took a video of the damage for my protection. Nobody there at the drop off , still have not received receipt , contract not closed ! Wait times yo to one hour on the phone for a rep . I will never book again with this company ever !
