I made a mistake on my booking and minutes later I realized it was too late and there was no way to cancel it!!! I have not used the car and my card was charged full amount for the payment!!! Very bad experience!!!

Dollar at the BHM airport is basically nonexistent. There is apparently never any staff at the desk, there is no kiosk in the garage, and no one to help you figure out how to actually get your car. Avoid using Dollar here and just go for a bigger name rental company.
Car was not well prepped. Smelled like cigarettes. Rear hatch would not open! There are no designated Dollar parking spots in the garage. Difficult to know where to return the car.
Pros:Super fast and great customer service. Dollar is combined with Hertz there, so there’s always someone to help.
