Everyone was friendly and helpful, they upgraded us to an suv free of charge since they didn’t have our reserved car which worked out well for the long drive in adverse weather conditions. Overall very happy experience!

Hertz location was permanently closed when I arrived for pickup! Received no communication from Hertz or Kayak that location had closed. Paid in full when booked and was not able to get another vehicle from any other car rental service.

When we arrived to pick-up our car from the Appleton, Wisconsin Hertz rental agency on 8/19/21, we were informed that Hertz had packed up and left on 8/13/21. They never contacted us to indicate what had occurred, either by phone, text or email. Our daughter was getting married on 8/21/21 and we did not have a car. We paid for the car, tried contacting them by phone, email and on their website. NO LUCK. Now, we are trying to get our money back. What happened to Hertz? Only Hertz knows and they aren't telling.
