I originally had a reservation for a Saturday, but I arrived and there was no car available for me to rent. I had to scramble to borrow a car for a few day. They did work to provide a car the following Monday so that helped a bit, but they set it up as a brand new reservation and the price per day was $60 more per day then my original reservation. I didn't realize the price had changed until I dropped it off at the end of my trip. They said they couldn't fix anything after the rental contract had ended. The whole process seemed very hap hazard and would have left me in a huge lurch if I didn't have a friend I could borrow a car from for a few days.

Our check in process took a very long time and concluded in us being given an absolutely filthy car. We had to stop at a gas station and buy cleaning supplies so we could stop feeling gross while driving to our destination. Drop off was a little frustrating because we had to pass several Hertz locations that were closed. When we called hertz to inquire about dropping off our car at one of those locations, they said the key drop box would only be available when that location was open. What’s the point? We ended up getting our drop off changed to an airport that was closer than the original drop off location in the end.
