Pros:The Hertz staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons:It was all fine and I have no suggestion for improvement.
Overall experience with the rental was fine—pickup and dropoff of the car was smooth and the car itself was clean and nice. However, after dropoff they mistakenly charged me for a full week, over $560, for a 24-hour rental that I had pre-paid. It's been over two weeks and I've had to call customer service twice to get the extra charge refunded, which they assure me will be in my bank account in the next 5-10 days. Customer service has been polite and efficient on each call but I'm lucky to have the time to follow up with them.
They incorrectly blamed me for the smoke smell in the car upon my drop-off. It was inconvenient to have to call and get that charge dropped. Great car though!
The agent left work early so I was unable to pickup my car when my flight arrived, even though I entered my flight info in Kayak's database. I had to rent a car from another provider.
Tesla wasn't even charged fully after we gave them 2 extra hours to have it ready. We missed a once in a lifetime special occasion due to their poor management.
