The young woman at the check in counter was fabulous! Then I went upstairs. They were super condescending. When you get upstairs, you have to stand outside. I asked why I couldn't just go to the car as I had check in downstairs and the car space number was on my paperwork. That's just for gold card. Why? He didn't do anything but point me to my car. I had waited downstairs. I realize that Gold members can go straight to the car, but I had check in downstairs and had an assigned car. I waited for them to finish to point to the car that I could see. That's stupid and demeaning. What's the point? He and the other guy were super unfriendly and unhelpful. Nothing like what I would expect from the South. In Sacramento, there aren't clear instructions about where to take the car. The person who checks your car, should get off the phone and not make clients wait outside looking around for someone to help when there are no instructions anywhere. Worse rental car experience ever. Expected more from a superior type rental car agency. Going back to Avis or Enterprise. More for less.
