When we arrived at Hertz, one person seemed to have our name on a list, but the check in desk did not have our reservation in the system. It took another hour for them to set us up with a new reservation. I don’t know if this was the fault of Kayak or Hertz, but it was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Will likely not use Kayak again.
Bait and switch. Got there and Ed wanted more money for a different car. I recently had a heart and kidney transplant, and was in town for the hospital, clinics and biopsies. I wasn't able to pick up the vehicle. He also refused my AAA discount. Horrible experience. It screwed up my entire itinerary...
This a unbelievable transition. I have the correct pick up and drop off address but Hertz said that’s not what they have. The charge went from booking price $290 to $890. Of course, I have to find something else with more reasonable price.
