The car had mechanical problems and customer service had me on hold for over and hour only to tell me that they can’t help me!

Desk rental agent was not clear on the pre-paid gas option. It was added to my bill when without my consent -- I always decline as I rent cars at RSW often and know exactly how much gas I will need - which is never close to a full tank. I always decline. Agent led me to believe it was part of the rental agreement and included. The rental desks were all crowded with long lines and she took advantage of the situation. I asked her to confirm the rate before departing and she cleverly stated - yes, that is the rate including the gas - bring back empty. She never asked me directly is if i wanted pre-paid fuel option. A win for thrifty because had no time to fight. But won't rent from Thrifty or the consortium of rental companys now under the same banner.
When I reached at the airport it was close at 6pm my car was booked for pick up time was 6pm and nobody was at airport I drove from Naples for pickup the car which is 40 miles from my home and drove back without the car I called your agent that man was not helpful only he was such a stupid person he was keep telling me the airport is open and you go back and pick up the car I said to him what nonsense you’re talking airport and airport rental car counter is close but he said no so finally I hung up and called back again this time there was a lady answer she was very helpful she checked calling airport rental car desks they have verified that airport and airport rental car counter is closed and then she gave me a credit I am not happy about all this because I was traveling next day and I didn’t have the car and I Uber it and paid $250 for my trip I will never ever will book my car from your company zafar ahmed
