We Had booked the car for June 10 8:30 PM arrival through Kayak And received confirmation , we received an email notice from thrifty on morning of June 10 saying that it was canceled . When I saw the e-mail ,I called Thrifty at the air port on June 10 to find out what was going on with the rental and I spoke to Mark and he assured me no problem my reservation was still there and the car was still there and that there would be someone there to meet me when we got off the plane (three is always somebody there late in the evening he said ), No Problems !! We arrived at Moncton on time, gathered our luggage and proceeded to the thrifty kiosk where there was nobody there except a sign that said call this number for immediate assistance . We called that number at least 15 times over the next hour and a half with no response. Speaking with one of the security personnel there we find out that this happens a lot at Thrifty. By this time the Avis line was getting short so we joined in it , They quick to get us in a car and get us on our way . Thank you Avis !! I Would definitely NOT recommend thrifty !! Darrell J
