Staff was friendly, but the car was not ready at the reserved pick up time. I waited for an hour and a half for them to look up my reservation & clean my vehicle. They even called the previous day to confirm my 2 o’clock reservation, which I’d made a month before, but I could not drive off the lot until 3:45. I even heard one employee tell another they weren’t super busy that day, but they “were steady all day.” Every time I’ve picked up a vehicle from Enterprise at a non-airport location, it’s never been ready when it’s supposed to be. It is clear that Enterprise’s business model is to overbook & understaff. They offered me a pathetic 15% off on a future rental when I returned the vehicle. I am extremely unimpressed with Enterprise.

I didn't like that when I got there I couldn't get the car I needed so desperately to get to my family's funeral because I dint have a credit card and yet it never said anything about that when I reserved it! Luckily I found else where!

The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. She told me they offer a shuttle service for customers, which I was not aware of and will be sure to use next time. I rent cars fairly often and this was one of the best experiences I have had.
Totally terrible experience. Put in a rental request for Asheville airport and was given a Budget local airport pickup that turned out to be in a shopping mall a $60 ride away. Turned the car into the airport and got hit with a $250 additional charge. Customer service person are indifferent to outright hostile. Stay away from this company.

We entered Asheville AIRPORT into the Search Box. When we got there the car was at Asheville DOWNTOWN. A 25 dollar and 30 min uber ride away. Not sure how this happened, but it was a show stopper since we had to return the car at Oh-Dark-Thirty to catch a 0600 flight. The lady at AVIS at the airport was FAB FAB FAB and hooked us right up with a car at the airport for almost the same price. Be very wary of the location of your car.

They did not have a car available even though I made a reservation. They did have a sign that said reservation does guarantee a vehicle. Ridiculous
i rented for a pick up time of 2:00 on a Sunday. With no notification during booking my reservation letting me know that this pick up location closes at 2:00.! So I had to uber back to airport and i had to rent another car from another company and pay another $400. plus $45 Uber charge, because when i rented no where did it tell me that this location closed early on Sunday. I called avis, and they said they could not do anything but charge me to rent another car. I will not use this agency again.

Made reservation over 24 hours in advance. Adjusted pick up time by 30 minutes the day we were to pick up the car. Because there was a change to the reservation, they said they could not honor a same-day reservation, despite the fact I made the original reservation the day before. If not for a helpful human at Enterprise, my fiance and I would have been stranded. Will be avoiding Thrifty at all costs and would advise you to do the same.

No car was available. We waited for 1.5 hours and eventually had to rent a car from another company.
I got to Asheville airport and was told I did not have a confirmation. I am a Hertz member as well. I showed the two people at the desk my reservation and gave her my confirmation number. She said she could not find it. She said I would have to drive a Ford F150 if she did give me a car. I told her no problem, then she said she couldn't help me. They were AWFUL at the desk. Luckily, the man at the desk sent me to Alamo and they were polite, helpful, and gave me a much, much better experience. I just rented from Hertz in Apopka, Florida last month and the experience was excellent. Asheville, I can say I would be hard pressed to ever attempt that badness again, if for nothing else than not wanting to engage with your agents again. They were not very nice. The woman was particularly snippy and grumpy.
