We waited in line for over an hour to get our car. I have never waited that long before. Staff were friendly but it wasn't worth the wait.

Worst experience I have ever had with rental car. Car had 55000 miles and rattled non stop. Also was given bad information on tolls and received toll violations. Not a single good thing to say about this experience.

We waited for over 2 hours to pick up a car that we verified the day before and they didn't have it, so they gave us a car that was also given to another customer and it was just a total dumpster fire... I will never rent from budget again to save the few dollars, because we didn't save any money as we were charged an additional day or $200 when we picked it up. Save time and sanity, don't ever rent with Budget again...

The line at SFO was 45-120 minutes long! This is totally unacceptable for someone with a prepaid reservation. What a horrible experience. I got a good price on a car from Hertz and was in/out in 10 minutes even though I didn’t have a reservation. Don’t book with kayak don’t book with budget.
