Cons:The wait to pick up the car - way too long! The representative also tried to sneak an in an upsell. The car smelled like smoke and we told the gentleman at heck out. His only solution was that my husband an do I could get back in the checkout line to get a different vehicle.

Picking up was a long and tenuous process. Huge lineup and only 3 agents working, easily the slowest of all rental companies in the building. The agent was clearly frustrated and tired and was not friendly at all. When we arrived at the car the exterior was dirty and there there was a rock chip in the window that was not noted, trying to find someone to report it to was not easy either. When we dropped the vehicle off at the LAX the few people we tried to ask questions of were rude and lacked answers. Finally found our own way. I chose Budget not for the price but because I had had good experience in the past, next time I will go with someone else.

Specifically paid to rent a full size suv and the counter lady would only give me an electric smart car. As we walked past numerous SUVs parked next to the smart car we had to plead with the attendant in the garage who stated they had plenty of SUVs to get us what we had already reserved
