I made my reservation several weeks in advance for a Friday 8am pickup. I called 2 days prior to confirm the vehicle would be ready, and Budget confirmed it was. I received a voicemail at 6pm the night before pickup to tell me they didn’t have a vehicle for me. I immediately called back & got a voicemail, but I couldn’t leave a message because it was full. So, I called the national number & talked to a guy I had a very hard time understanding due to English not being his native language. My reservation was for a vehicle that needed to carry 6 people, and he kept trying to re-book me a car that carried 5 people. He then tried to book me a vehicle that would require me driving 1-1/2 hours away to pickup. After 45 minutes, no luck. The morning of the pickup, I received a call from the local Budget asking if I had received their message from the night before. I told them yes, but asked why such a late notice. They didn’t have an answer nor offered an apology. Long story short, we had to drive 2 of our own personal vehicles & were not able to travel together to our destination. Very disappointing & frustrating!!
