The check in process was quick and efficient. The specific car I was hoping to get was not readily available, but Tony, the manager Took action and was able to get the car we hoped for…. Added bonus he spent 10 friendly minutes chatting while we waited. It was clear by the number of staff who passed by saying hi, that Tony is well liked and runs a very efficient rental car agency. The car arrived clean, the return process was as smooth as the arrival. The best Rental car experience that we’ve ever had.
Pick-up staff were friendly and efficient. Location was convenient and easily accessible. Drop-off was VERY disappointing. There was a different manager there at drop off and they found a few pet animal hairs on the driver's seat and the trunk. The manager and another staff immediately accused me of transporting a pet which I absolutely did not do. I DO have cats and a dog AT HOME and there may have been a small amount of fur on my clothing and luggage but absolutely nothing that was so noticeable that I thought would be transferable. I told them that I did NOT transport any animals as that is a contravention of the rental contract and they never appeared to accept my explanation or even believe me. It was shockingly disrespectful. I completely understand about allergies and therefore would never have left a car full of fur if I had noticed it being transferred from me to the vehicle. When I looked at the vehicle after they basically accused me of lying, i saw thst there were approximately 20 VERY fine hairs TOTAL on the seat and trunk carpet. So fine that I wouldn't even have noticed. They literally could have been shed from a wool sweater and not a pet. The rest of the car was very clean as I was the only person in it during the rental. I'm sure they have had that car returned much dirtier than I left it. They told me I could clean it myself or they would charge me. A counter staff member then told me I could use their vacuum cleaner as I had a pick up ride waiting for me and had a tight timeline to get to work. The manager then refused me their vaccum, stating that their big shop vacs couldn't deal with pet hair and I would have to go to a gas station that had rental vacuums. Instead I raced home with the vehicle and used my handheld Dirt Devil to suck up the few hairs that were in the car. It took me less than 5 minutes. When I returned the car a second time, I left my small vacuum in it in case I had to use it again if they still weren't satisfied. The manager then re-inspected the car and saw my handheld vacuum in it and was surprised that I was able to remove the hair with it (it shouldn't have been a surprise because it was only several small strands and did not require a "special" vaccum at all). I said I brought it with me in case the car didn't pass the white glove test a second time and I was going to vacuum it again in their presence. The manager then grew quiet as she had nothing left to criticize. Clearly their shop vacs could have easily handled those few hairs. Overall the drop off staff ruined my entire experience as they clearly didn't believe me, were accusatory and were entirely unhelpful about allowing me to clean the car on site even though they initially offered it and I had a pickup driver waiting for me and tight timeline to get to work. Neither she or any of the other staff smiled or thanked me at drop-off, which was completely different than at pick-up when the staff (she wasn't present at pick-up but the same staff were there at drop-off) were all friendly and helpful. I got the impression that she set a very bad tone not only with clients but also with the staff (who seemed in subordination to her), and this incident occurred when they first opened at 8am. I can't imagine that this is how she set the tone for the entire rest of the day for both clients and staff. I cannot in good conscience recommend this location despite my original good experience at pick-up. What a shame. The manager there needs to have follow-up with higher up management to learn better customer service skills and how to set a better tone with her own staff as they acted very differently in her presence that they had 4 days prior.

Great service, given choice of car within paid for range, small issue with tyre pressure was resolved promptly. As a foreign traveller we were apprehensive but no need to be, we would use Thrifty again for sure.

There were a lot of blemishes on the vehicle....some large areas of missing paint..The steering wheel made a grating sound when turning...Car interior was clean with a very strong odor of a cleaning agent..Exterior of car needed a better wash..Vehicle did give good gas mileage and was less expensive than Enterprise Rent A Car. When I picked up the car in London，the gas tank was not full. I noticed it on my way home in London. It cost me $ 17.63 to fill it up(12.08 liters). When I returned the car the next day in Toronto，I complained it in Avis counter and showed the two receipts for the gas. The guy said I have to talk to Avis in London. I was heading to China so I didn't have enough time to do it. I did call them . But nobody answered phone.
Found this to be a great Rental Location from dealing with Ravi (hope I got the name correct) on pickup, who handled the contract and walk around very smoothly and quickly. To Hami who made the drop off a first rate experience. I even received a phone call from the Manager checking on the ride. Would rent again without a doubt when in London, ON!

I dont see what the point of ordering online is. I chose a car, paid an extra buck to get the next higher model, only to get to the dealer to have them tell me, too bad, your getting the shittiest car on the lot, but I can upgrade for another $10. They keep insisting some kind of 'supply and demand' bs, but will we really see prices lower? Never. Its just another corporate scam under late capitalism.

The customer service reps at the London Airport were very informative and friendly while being professional. The reps on the pickup and drop-off days were very personable and helpful.
What could of been better. They wanted to charge $50.00 more to add an additional driver for two days. We have rented in the past and have never been charged extra for the extra driver. Not sure I would rent again from Budget.

Mitsubishi suv is a poorly designed vehicle and having a chance to rent one, I surely would not buy one. Speedometer barely visible on sunny days. Multiple position gearshift is ridiculous!. Take some time to test drive and look for function fit and form
We needed a minivan and we got a minivan. It got us to and from our destination in one piece, and had the cargo space we needed. The staff at the agency were very pleasant. However, the van wasn't ready at the booked time - it had no fuel so I waited 15 minutes while they fuelled it. And when I got it, it was filthy. Clearly it hadn't been washed in weeks. The inside was worse - sticky steering wheel, stained seats, spills on the carpet and trim. If there were other vehicles on the lot, and if I had time, I would have asked for a different van. Mechanically it also needed attention - the brake discs needed replacement, and there was an engine squeal that got worse, but more amusing, as we got closer to home. I paid $200 for the day - unfortunately due to the Labour Day weekend, prices for rentals everywhere were jacked up to gouge anyone who wanted to rent any class of vehicle. Normally I use a different car rental agency, but I'm surprised a big player like Hertz would want their name on a dirty, worn-out van that's three model years old with 80,000 km on the clock.
