I was among many who had a reservation, but no car available. The staff was very friendly and tried to help. They did after some time come up with a smaller car, but they could not take my company card as it did not have my name but the company name. I have since opened a company account.
1. Expedia sent me to the wrong Nashville location. Hertz told me that there were 2 airport locations. One onsite and the other one which was on airport property but not at the airport. Expedia charged me $54ish for airport pickup, which Nashville Hertz did not put on my bill without my even asking. Cost me $17 Lyft fee to get there 2. Hertz had no cars available at all 3. Had to wait an hour despite being the only person there before they got me a gigantic car 4. The car that was 1/3 full and told me to bring it back at that level 5. The gas cost probably twice what it would have if I had the car I ordered 6. When I returned it as requested 1/3 full to Memphis I was charged $18 for 2 gallons of gas. I have the photos to prove it was an 8 mile difference, impossible to get gas level any closer since the car wasn't full in the first place. My issue is with Expedia, the Memphis Hertz and the Hertz in general not having the car available. The Nashville Hertz staff bent over backwards trying to get a car for me and followed up with me the next day.

During pick up the line was way too slow and the Hertz mobile app wasn’t allowing me to pass the desk and go directly to my car as advertised. After calling hertz the reservation was changed in my favor but at the desk the reservation hadn’t changed and I picked up yet another car.

Hours posted on website and when you call the corporate offices were incorrect so I had to pick up my car a day late. There was then no compensation for this missed day and they wouldn’t even allow me to then drop it off a day late in return. The pick up process was so slow (I was there for almost and hour) and none of the employees seemed to care about the efficiency while three of us were waiting.
They have crazy policies in place about payment that made this extremely difficult also, they were rude.

The staff at the Downtown Nashville Enterprise on 8th Street during the Christmas ‘22 Elliott Blizzard aftermath and the Southwest Airlines debacle, got me into a rental car so I could drive over 750 miles home. It was a challenge as they had few cars that morning but they worked hard at it and made it happen. They were pleasant and diligent and caring. I’ve never seen anything like it.

They were friendly but inside of car not so clean. They did however discount me 10 percent. I also drove the car away when it said, Maintenance needed on the dashboard. They probably shouldn’t have let me use that car until it was updated.
Spent a lot of time at the counter as they only had one person working the counter and several people in line.

On a holiday weekend there was ONE person working the counter for Dollar, Thrifty and Hertz. There were over 60 people in line and we stood there for over an hour. That’s absolutely ridiculous. I would have gladly paid more money to a different company that was able to get people in and out in under 10 minutes. Won’t use them again!

NEVER rent from Dollar, the orphan child of Hertz. Expect 0 customer service and runaround’s that will waste your time. WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT WHAT YOU WILL PAY. A quoted $350 one way from BNA to RDU went horribly wrong upon return. An older Kia Minivan ended up running me $850 for a 36 hour rental because I returned 4 hours late, despite calling Dollar (waiting 1 hour on hold), and being told the extra charges would amount to $31.50. Agent upon return said if I had a dispute to go to the Hertz counter, Hertz employee just checked my rental out on the computer and handed me the bill, not at all willing or able to hear that there was a discrepancy between being quoted $31.50 extra vs the nearly $400 extra I have paid. As someone loyal to National, I’m not making this same mistake again and advise everyone to avoid Dollar- possibly even Hertz too unless you’re a premium member.

Buick Encore has a very awkward USB charging port with no charging pad as an option. Rental return was not good—Nashville Int charged for an additional four hours though it was returned on time, and fuel refill when it was returned full. Disappointed.

For a 6am pickup only 1 counter person for 3 rental companies. Started out in a Hertz line and when the Thrifty clerk arrive had to start over in their line. When i reached the front of the line a 3rd newly arrived clerk asked me back to a Hertz terminal. This took what felt like over a half hour. I realize the clerks may not work for the individual rental companies but observed once there was enough staff the lines disappeared. Returning the car was easy enough. No staff was there, just leave the keys and note the milage.

no one would ever assist me on the phone or in person….when i went to pick up my car no one was working. I had to dispute my charge and rent from another place. Worst experience ever. Will never never rent from Dollar again.
They didn’t have any vehicles even though they were listed as available. They told me they would have one in about 30 minutes. 3 hours later I got a text notifying me I did not have the rental car I reserved.

Friendly staff in Nashville they upgraded our car because that’s all that was available. We came to pick up later than scheduled by Uber and it was a good thing because there would have been no cars available at that time. We waited approx 30 plus minutes for ours but once we had it all was well.

The service was great with exception of having a preferred line and regular customers coming in had four agents and two where the only ones working the windows I get it preferred customers get to skip the line but in a matter of thirty minutes every agent just ignored the main line that was my only downfall and discouraging
