The tagline of “pick Enterprise and we’ll pick you up” doesn’t apply outside of a 4 mile radius apparently. Bummer. Outside of that, staff at this location were friendly and laid back, super helpful in reviewing the contract before and after. Vehicle was clean. Would use Enterprise again, just need to find one closer to the house I guess.

I put my son on my rental as a driver. We asked two ladies at Hwy 111 (Palm Desert/Palm Springs) if there was a charge and was told no. When I returned the car, the Phoenix store had added a fee of $120. The charge was rescinded after some unpleasant discussion. I will look at Enterprise with more scrutiny and less favorable as I go forward.
Budget sucks. They advertise one price then you get slammed with a “we’ll reconcile the rest of this math later” price at the end and it is far more expensive than you initially planned on. Wouldn’t recommend. All the extra hidden “airport fees” and taxes is absolutely criminal.

Comfortable car with amazing gas mileage for a mon-hybrid. Rental process was easy at a good price. Our only frustration was with tire sensor going off often, even after filling air to specs.

The only good thing they had going was they provided water for people waiting. On the down side they did not have cars available, was over an hour wait and charged much more over and above the kayak price. In Australia if you book hire cars online you have insurance included and no more to pay at the outlet. My experience so far with USA car rental is they just charge what they want on top with various extra fees, insurance and taxes. Overall very disappointed.

Car wasn’t ready for pickup, but did get an upgrade for free after waiting
I reserved the reservation for pick up @ 10 am. We arrived @ the location for pick up prior to opening & had to wait until 10 am. There was only one employee working @ the counter & I thought we could have picked up the car sooner. It looks like you need more help @ this location. The other suggestion I would like to make is upon returning the vehicle to The Wynn hotel we did not receive instructions on where to go. We stopped in Valet & we're directed to the 2nd floor in the self parking garage. We did this & we're told it's on the 1st floor. A lot of running around to return the car especially when u are trying to get to the airport. I would suggest your team member give specific directions on where to return the vehicle @ the beginning especially when you're in a busy city like Las Vegas.

My first time using Hertz. I will never use them again! I reserved a mid size SUV for the time and location that best fit a number of important things an appointments I had scheduled for the day. At the scheduled time I traveled to the pickup location, and sat patiently for nearly 40 minutes, for my turn to be called up to the counter. Upon stating that I had a reservation, I was told "Oh, we don't have any vehicles available". Caught a little off guard, I again stated, there must be some mistake, I made a reservation. Again being told in a matter of fact way, we have no cars. The rental agent then turns around and picks up a set of keys and says< "well we do have a full size SUV, that will be an upgrade and it will be $60 more per day". So I said< " hang on a second, I made a reservation for a standard SUV for $60 per day. You don't have any standard SUV"s but u have a full size, you are going to upgrade me for free right? He said no, it will be $60 a day more. He then leaned over to the agent next to him and said, can we do a free upgrade? To which the rental agent said, " we don't have any cars, we need that one". And so I was told "sorry, we dont have any cars. I can put you on a waiting list if you want. This screwed up all the plans I had for the day, since I was renting a car for my necessity and not because I had some free time so, Oh, I know what, let me go rent a car. Hertz didnt care one bit that I had a bunch of things scheduled for that day. Not one care what so ever. I will never use Hertz again.

First, stop contracting with them they are horrible. I made my reservation two days prior to trip, had a compact SUV reserved, went to pick up at my allotted time and was told no cars available! was asked to be added to a wait list with an unknown wait time. many customers waited two or more hours for a car. the wait delayed my trip. I cancelled my reservation and called enterprise while I waited at Hertz for them to get their act together. Ubered to Enterprise down the street. I was in and out in 15. at hertz I would've still been waiting. staff there was horrible, never explained why the wait never made any attempts to accomodate the waiting customers with a future coupon or voucher for another rental or e en offer their customers water while we waited. It's AZ it's Hot. Manager POS. was unmoved or concerned by what was happening to his customers. Thanks enterprise.

It was easy to book on-line. Pick up in Phoenix was very easy and staff was pleasant and cooperative. When they didn't have my car in the lot, they immediately upgraded me to an SUV with no questions or added expense. Drop off was a breeze.
I had never heard of your company before this trip; would now recommend. The staff member who checked us in (“The Mark”) was friendly and efficient!! He talked with us about where we were going and gave us recommendations, which turned out great!! I have never experienced that from a car rental agent and really appreciated it!!

Don't book with SIXT if there's even a 1% chance you'll need to cancel. It was the most infuriating process ever to cancel. Their website (there's absolutely no human to talk to) kept saying I needed to go through kayak to cancel. Kayak's website (also no human) says you have to go through SIXT. Neither was taking responsibility. After 8 emails SIXT finally cancelled it, which showed they were indeed the ones able to cancel it!!! Took way too much time. Don't recommend.

Customer service at rental check- in and cehicke handover was the best I ever received from any car rental company. Great staff in Phoenix Sky Harbor. Also I was upgraded to a nicer car with no extra charge. Very satisfied!!!
I was so pleased with everything! The rental car agent was awesome. He helped me with an accidental booking at the wrong location and got me a car at the airport right away instead. The car was clean, comfortable and even nicer than I expected. Return was easy. The price was reasonable for the city and length of stay!

The roadside assistance was horrid. The Tesla broke down with an unknown error code and when I can them the exact address where we were at the Grand Canyon West, the dispatched not 1 but 2 tow drivers that were over 2hrs away. Then we were told that there were no Ubers rides available. We were literally left in the AZ desert, 2 hrs away from “home” and there was “nothing” that could be done! Horrible service and the Tesla wasn’t picked up until 8am the next morning. The replacement car took almost another 18 hours to be delivered. They wanted me to pick it up! Was I supposed to walk? Worst customer service in the country.
Several dozen people were told that they ran out of cars and that we would have to either wait 2 plus hours for returns or go to another rental agency. This is complete failure on management to plan, especially for an airport location. I ended up paying DOUBLE for my rental because of their incompetencies.

Pick up process at Phoenix Rental Car Centre is terrible … the wait at counter is ALWAYS too long - with not enough staff… Once you actually get to the counter, the sign up process seems too complicated and takes a long time, and finally when you go downstairs to pick up your car, we had to wait another full HOUR to get our car because there wasn’t enough vehicles to supply the demand… I wish this was only a single occurrence but it has happened the 5 times we’ve gone through Phoenix rental car centre -

3hour wait to get checked in and then 2 hour wait for a car. Only had one person processing rental cars. Staff said it was the same way last year for this time of year. They already knew they were going to be busy so they Should have had more staff on duty.

Idk if it was because they had offered a super awesome, can't-miss, out of this world deal for the weekend we rented, but the line at the Thrifty rental counter was outrageous. No other rental counter had near the amount of business. I actually started looking online to rent at a different company while standing in line because the line was long and SLOW. I waited in line for close to 20 minutes and I wasn't even inside the Thrifty counter area when the Dollar counter employees invited us over to their counter. That doubled the number of employees renting cars to customers. Look, the company knows how many cars are going out that day. Plan to get the Dollar counter to help sooner. When the line starts snaking out of the Thrifty area and around seating areas and crossing in front of two other counters, maybe you waited too long to start pulling people out and sending them to the Dollar counter.

They were out of cars. None- there were about 60 people there that night and they did not get their vehicles. I paid a high upgrade fee to get a Shelby mustang convetible - it was the only car they had left. I was expecting to pay about $200 for a rental and I ended up spending about $900. It was a horrendously suboptimal experience. The car, however, was nice, but it would have rather been able to rent and pay for what I needed, not for a fancy sports car.
They need more signage at pick up point…the safe was mostly friendly but they had some sort of situation that had them behind when I arrived so I waited almost an hour to be helped even though I had filled out all paperwork on line and uploaded all necessary documents. Once I got the vehicle- it was beautiful and the staff that delivered the car was the nicest person!! When I returned the vehicle, the place was closed so I had to arrange for an Uber, which #1, the location is in a little bit of a sketchy area and #2 I don’t like getting an uber by myself as a single woman… but the key drop box was easy to see and the uber driver was very pleasant. I think if you accept a drop off before your hours, someone should be there and shuttle provided. Even though I had no issue other then waiting and the drop off, I will probably rent from the terminal since they are there and no shuttle would be needed if my flight hours differ from their operational hours.
