There was nothing wrong with car itself, but apart from that I cannot recommend NU Car in Los Angeles. We arrived at LAX in the morning around 10am. There had been no communication/description from NU Car about how to get from the terminal to the rental car agency, so we assumed they would have shuttle signage with the other rental car agencies. We were wrong. They do not answer their phones, but instead ask you to text message them for information. 4-5 text messages later they explain they are in the lobby of the Westin, and that we should take the Westin’s shuttle. Why this information was not communicated upon renting the car I have no idea. Dropping the car off after hours (5:30pm) the station in the Westin was closed. Again, there was zero communication about procedure. There was a drop box for keys, so we parked the car in their lot (once we figured out how to do so by walking around the parking garage for ten minutes), dropped the keys off and left. As we were leaving we encountered a family coming to pick up their NU Car rental who were completely confused and unable to reach anyone. If you’re thinking of renting from NU Car in Los Angeles and want my advice, I’ve got to say: just don’t do it, man. Jeff M
