I waited in line for over an hour to pick up a reserved vehicle. People were very nice, after I got to the counter, everything went smooth as silk. After flying, waited in line for over an hour to rent.

There was a very long line and at least a half hour+ wait for the car pick-up at the SLC airport. Other than that, it was a successful rental experience with Avis.

I had a car reserved with Avis at this location, but when I showed up to pick up my car they were 1-1.5 hours from having a car for me. They referred me to Budget, who had cars, but they charged me $100 more for the reservation. Never again!

When I got to SLC, the line for the Avis rentals was about two hours long--and that was just to check in, not get the car! I had to call a colleague to come pick me up because I would have missed the crucial meeting I flew in for if I'd stayed in line. What a circus!

Waited 3 hours to pickup my pre scheduled car. I asked for the mileage program and the agent said it was added (upon returning the car found out it was not added so I was charged for not filling the car with gas). When I went to get in my car, the people before me were driving it away. The agent gave us both the same car. It took another 20 minutes to get a different car. When returning the car the agent was very unhelpful and couldn’t answer any of my questions.
