Start to finish was poor service. Was quoted one price only to find once we had landed that it was actually more than double which significantly ate into our holiday money. We were even charged a further £47 for returning the car in the evening before we flew back rather than waiting until the morning despite being told it was fine to bring it back early. Seems like you get a good deal but by the time all the hidden and surprise costs are added on you may as well use someone else. Would not recommend or use them again.
Had a problem with the web site and so I decided to call BUDGET at the Halifax airport. The service agent answering the phone was not even located in Canada - he did not know where Halifax was since he was located in Mexico City. I was not sure if the price quoted was in Can $ or US$. Nonetheless, somehow a car was reserved for me. Charles, the attendant at the Halifax airport was very accommodating & friendly - I was a happy camper!
