The agent that helped me out was great - his name was "The Anthony" - he was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and kind. The car was nice, too, but it had a lot of dings and scratches on it. It looked like most of them were noted on the report, but then when I went to take it back, they accused me of damaging the hood of the car (I did not). I've never had a rental car place try something like that before. I trusted Sixt to be fair and honest about their car, but now I feel betrayed.

I received a message the morning I was picking up the van that the van I reserved was not available. No effort was made to locate one for me from another location, as far as I know. The remaining cars were terrible matches for my needs. I was told to reserve a car via costco to reduce the cost of the substitute vehicle; no effort was made to assist. Fiasco start to finish-- I ended up with no rental at all. I would recommend NOT Enterprise.

Our car reservation was 30 miles from the airport. Enterprise wound up canceling our reservation and we had to get a last minute car from Dollar. The price difference was doubled. We made the original reservation weeks ahead of time in good faith. We flew half way across the country and almost had our vacation derailed because of some online miscommunication. Between third party bookings and Enterprise’s horrible customer service I will definitely be making my vacation plans differently next time.

Entered Denver Airport for our pickup and return location and it immediately popped up the variety of car options to reserve. We selected our small SUV and completed our reservation. Upon arrival at the airport following the rental car location we took the shuttle to the Enterprise location at which we were told the reservation want at the airport location and was actually downtown. We then had to spend $60 to Uber downtown to a dirty lot with two cars on site. The agent told us he could see our original reservation was as for the airport location but that it put us at their downtown location as cars were booked out at the other. The car smelled absolutely horrible- like a dirty diaper pale. We had to keep all the windows down to drive it. We returned the car and the manager said he could waive $100 for the odor but nothing else as it was an issue with Kayak’s reservation system and not Enterprise. I won’t rent through Kayak again….

Jenyfer was very helpful. Very professional and made me feel at ease. The van was very clean.
They didn't have cars, wait was over two hours. Gave us a much smler vehicle then we had rented but still charged us for the larger one. Refuse to answer any of our emails about fixing the charge. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB when I get home.

1,We had booked convertible car and last minute they call to say they don’t have it. In fact, they had us call another Avis (at the airport) because they said they would have it. We called that Avis. They said they "never" get convertible cars. So we had to go back to the other Avis, which is when they offered up this Suburban. 2. Our first car drop was in town and when they change the car the return was in airport and I had to pay taxi to take me back to town 3. the car was dirty and not a full tank of gas 4. the car had so many damages that basically range from side damage and effects on the cars function, like cruise control and distance function were broken which was pretty dangerous for the highway 5. Car had almost 50k on it and very risky to drive - the drop off location said this car should NEVER had been rented to us for the distance we rented it to drive (from Colorado Springs to Amarillo). We will also be calling Avis to complain about this and have photos which show all the above mentioned issues. I will not be trusting or renting from them again.

Vehicle was not thoroughly cleaned (still had trash in it from previous users). Cracked windshield. Not enough customer service people to service customers in a timely manner (particularly at pickup).
Waited from 12:30 am until 4:30 am in their office with 200 other people and only 2 employees.

Horrendous. We flew all the way across the county for a special event THAT WE MISSED because budget had us wait for 3 HOURS after our rental pick-up time (and we arrived early) before getting us in a car. There were hundreds of others waiting and never once did anyone from the Budget staff acknowledge their over-booking or address the long wait times. We were told our rental was non-refundable so we couldn’t even cancel and walk across the street to get a car with another service without losing hundreds of dollars. At no point in the booking process, or in the line to pick up were we informed how long the waits were. Budget clearly knows this is a problem because the person who finally did check us in told us it was like that every day. They intentionally overbook themselves to sell more cars and have ZERO regard for people’s experience and situations. Truly a terrible experience. Don’t ever rent from Budget

Car was completely dirty-so much that I actually video taped it. The guy who was supposed to take us to the car was rude and on his phone. I had to keep asking for help.
Extremely rude staff. Attempted to rent me a wrecked vehicle and when I denied it said it would be a few hours until another of the same class was available. Check in process no one was there. An AVIS employee said to just leave the keys in the car. No inspection, etc. I travel for a living and this is about my 3rd poor experience with Payless. I will pay more money for better service, shorter lines, and kinder staff. Will not be using this company again

Ehh, dude was kinda a dick. I got charged an extra 60$ for I have no idea. I declined insurance and gas. Payless is apparently avis. Don't fall for the lies.

The company knew in advance when we would arrive and what car we needed but when we arrived, we were told the car was not there. Their dispatch was very ineffective and incompetent in having the cars that people had reserved, prepared and ready. They offered us a car in another category, which we didnt want. We were told that we needed to wait for the car category we had reserved And then suddenly the car we wanted became available. There were major inefficiencies, miscommunications, delays with their system. EVERYONE that was there was having a similar experience. The agents were doing their best but the business needs some major reorganization and training. Will not rent from you again.
I wish I could get an upgrade with President’s circle without going go the counter.

Simple pick up. Clean vehicle. Vehicle was in good shape without concerns. Upgraded to midsize pickup. Everything was great. Friendly staff. Overall great experience!
I could not get a car cause I did not have flight information. I did not need flight information I was trying to drive the car out of state and they would not let me do a one way option.

The customer service was horrible .. no one wanted to help me I asked two people to help me .. both of them told me they were busy and to go find some one else .. I stood there and waited for 15 min .. when the next shuttle came around .. the lady said I can help who’s next. I immediately said something to her and she said , I was busy at the time is there no one there to help you I said no . Still no one helped me .. eventually some one showed up to help me… i told him what happened he just looked at me. So I said ok im going to just let it go. Then they gave me my car , the Car gas tank wasn’t on full and it smelled like smoke , cigarettes . I pulled up to the exit and I told the employee hey this gas tank isn’t on full and the car smells like smoke . He said I will note it that the car smells like smoke and the gas tank you can bring it back on this . i bring the car back , the clerk tells me to leave the keys in the car shuttle would be over there . I get in the shuttle and I goto board my plane . As I’m boarding I checked my email. And i got my receipt . They CHARGED ME A SMOKING FEE FOR $400! … Messing up my credit card and I’m pretty sure it’s going to mess with my credit score . This place is a nightmare . It’s poorly ran and it looks like they hire any one to work there .. the rate was $35 a day and it def shows why

I wish rental car companies would not encourage their employees to engage tired travellers with relentless upselling based on fear mongering. Usually it is for unnecessary insurance. In CO, it is the Chain Law, which requires chains in a heavy snowstorm - regardless of the car - and chains are not permitted by the rental company. Their solutuon is to push for a vastly more expensive SUV that has AWD but still would nkt satisfy the Chain Law. Why not just put snow tires on rental cars for people who are primarily coming ro CO to ski? There is always a line at the rental counter and the upselling may add profit for the rental company, but it makes a simple check in and pick up experience much longer and more frustrating for all customers. It is also disingenous and misleading. People on vacation want to relax and be on their way, not argue with rental employees who have clearly been trained to extend rather than shorten the rental process.
